Your privacy matters.

What we collect

Only what you hand us directly. When you fill in the contact form, we receive your name, required phone number, email address, the program you're interested in, your role, and your message. If you complete the Pathfinder quiz before getting in touch, we may also receive your quiz answers. If you separately choose to join our newsletter, we collect your email address and any name you choose to provide. We don't use advertising trackers or sell browsing profiles. Vercel — our hosting provider — logs standard server data (IP address, user-agent, request path) for abuse protection and performance monitoring. When configured, Sentry receives technical error diagnostics, performance traces, and an error-triggered session replay; Upstash receives endpoint/IP rate-limit keys. If you use the optional AI assistant, VeriCite receives the messages you submit plus conversation and device identifiers needed to keep the chat session working.

How we use it

Enquiries

We use your enquiry details to reply and continue the conversation. We don't add your enquiry details to our newsletter list unless you separately sign up. We don't sell your data or build a profile on you. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we stop.

Optional newsletter signup

Newsletter signup is optional and separate from sending an enquiry. If you sign up, we use your email address and any name you provide to manage and deliver the subscription.

Site reliability and optional AI chat

We use Vercel and Sentry diagnostics, traces, and error replays to operate and improve the site, and Upstash keys to enforce abuse limits on public forms. If you open the AI assistant, VeriCite uses your messages and session identifiers to return answers and preserve the conversation.

How long we keep it

Contact emails stay in our inbox for as long as the conversation is active. The newsletter name and email address you provide are stored by Resend for subscription delivery. We retain this information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Vercel's server logs rotate on their own schedule per Vercel's retention policy.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter.

You can also email thegoodstudentcompany@gmail.com to unsubscribe or request deletion.

Upstash rate-limit keys use a one-hour window and expire automatically. Sentry diagnostics and VeriCite chat data follow the retention configured for those services; you can use the same email address to request deletion of information linked to you.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, or delete anything we hold about you at any time. Just email thegoodstudentcompany@gmail.com and we'll sort it out promptly.

Third parties

We use the following external services. Vercel hosts the site and sees the server logs described above. Resendsends contact-form enquiry emails to our inbox and processes the details in those messages. It also stores each newsletter subscriber's email address and optional name for subscription delivery. These services process the information described above to provide hosting, enquiry delivery, and newsletter services. Upstash stores short-lived endpoint/IP keys for form rate limiting. Sentry processes technical diagnostics, performance traces, and error-triggered session replays when monitoring is configured. VeriCite powers the optional AI assistant and processes its messages and session identifiers.
